Home

I moved in with Jason on Friday. I have until the 30th to clear out of my apartment, so we have time to make it nice and clean to get my deposit back. Jason is so sweet, it's been really fun living with him so far. I know he doesn't like keeping my hours, but he'll get used to it. :)
I cooked the night before last, and he cooked for me last night. He made some baked fish and rice and it was very tasty. And Ari loves it here. We have a loft in the master bed room and he spends most of his time up there. I'll have to post pictures I took of his little face peeking out from the loft to look at me. There's a huge tub in the master bath that I am looking forward to soaking in. :) It's a nice place...and I'm looking forward to decorating it.

My Grammy is still hanging in. She apparently opened her eyes yesterday and said her name was Grace. They are not giving her fluids because those are her wishes. She would not want to live like that. She may still rally, we will see. Grammy will go exactly when she wants to.

Welcome home :)

Sorry about your grammy.

I remember when my father was near the end hospice gave us pamphlets on the whole dying process. It was very interesting. As they get closer they say any food or water actually makes it more painful for them. The body will have to work to digest or use the food or water.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I've been thinking about you lately, too. I'm glad that you have some good news to go with the sad news.

Congratulations on your move! Is it one of those garden tubs? I would love a garden tub!

I hope your grammy goes gently when she is ready. My mom signed up for "no special measures." I really, really wanted to keep her hydrated somehow but she could barely sip anything and didn't want an IV.
